I think I know what I'm doing. I think. Now, no one talk to me or I might backslide into chaos. :/
I don't know why I didn't think of it. Pre offer I kept thinking, my head says go to back and wait, my heart says stay here. As I did the comparisons my head was always picking the other choices. Today a wise man told me when your head can't decide, it's up to your heart. Tadah. So simple.

Yup, my little digital has moved on - literally. I took it in to be cleaned and get a minor, minor crack fixed and due to its age (11 months gasp!) Best Buy opted to scrap it instead of fixing it. If I had known it was going to go that way, I would never have mentioned the crack. Sometime before 10 I will find out where I'm going (or where I'm not going) to be for the next 2 years. Of course even if Qatar says no, there's Korea, Florida, and Maryland ... I have an interview at 9 which will decide if I get the job in Qatar. I really want to go, so happy thoughts at about that time would be greatly appreciated. :) I got home from work exhausted. Not sure why - ate dinner grabbed my laptop and did an online class until I fell asleep at 7. I dozed until 7:30 and revived a bit did more of my class and was still able to go to bed at 9. Well, 3 am there's the screeching of brakes and crash - car vs telephone pole. I go peek out my window and join all my other neighbors checking out what happened. Fortunately no one was hurt so I don't have to practice my field first aid. :) And now it's time to go back to sleep, but I'm not tired now. . . or at least 13 people in the U.S. with my name . . . Per BBC: I made it, well to Columbus, GA anyway. I'm staying in a very nice Marriott about 20 min from Ft. Benning. The trip was uneventful and I ran into some fellow class mates on the 20 min flight from Atlanta to here. More later. |
